~ Fleurs Friday ~

I would like to share with you one of my most favorite finds!

It's a beautiful bed made in 1926 by the Royal Furniture Company.

I've never seen anything like this before, and when I found it, it

was a dark Tigerwood finish which didn't highlight the beautiful ornate carvings...

 It's been in storage for a few years since I was hesitant to

alter it's finish incase it decreased it's value.

Well...who knows how much it's worth now?

Here are the before pics...

The Tigerwood was so overpowering, that I thought it might look better painted,

so it would show off it's ornate details better...

I just love the transformation of this special piece...

I would love to know it's value since I really don't know what to sell it for.

I just wish I had another spare bedroom to put it in!!

Oh well...Someone will benefit with this treasure!

This is definitely something fit for a princess!!

I've had several requests to Blog about my projects....

I'm hoping I can find the time, so I will try a weekly "Fleurs Friday"

I recently had a very special project in which the

"Make A Wish Foundation" Sponsored!!

They supported a wish for a 4 year old little girl to transform

her Bedroom into a "Princess Room"!!

It turned out so Devine!

These special pieces started out quite boring...

Now she has a very precious room to enjoy!

Prayers have been going out for her Health and Endurance...!!
